![]() A mayor will always come up with something when there is a 6-lane highway waiting to be build. I don't count here commercial buildings or industry ones, because it feels like there's always some bureaucratic way to get rid of THOSE. You either pay the compensation (which is not possible in CS) or try to avoid it as best you can. When citizens are building houses on their own property, for their own cash, and to acommodate their own families - a guy like you (even the Mayor) cannot just walk in and say: "it's all gone". Maybe it's the way C:S was meant to be played? I dunno. I have to admit that this rule is by far the most entertaining one. The first step was to bury everything underground, so I can put new highways on the ground. I remember my first try with this rule (combined with no.2), when my highway and improvised dirt roads were seriously clogged. When there is a need for some renovations, citizens demand for some de-tours. This rule is very demanding gameplay-wise, since there is always a time when your current road layout cannot hold any more traffic.
